no penalty. fox news polls show 80% of voters want students to be taught good citizenship, 80%. and portland is telling kids that cheating, failing and not showing up is acceptable. common sense doesn t know the ramifications of the portland grading policy, but is pretty sure at some point, somewhere, some employer is going to want these kids to show up and do the work. let s bring in jill simonian, director of outreach for prager u kids and sonja shaw for unified school district in california. welcome to you both. the whole thing jill is, you cannot have a system where cheating is okay. where it s okay to cheat and then these kids are going to get something out of school. it just doesn t work that way. right and this is something at we at prager u kids have been talking about for years now, the danger and travesty of the lowering of standards, the standards keep getting lower and lower and lower and it s a fail on our education system.
