HOUGHTON Greg Davis, 60, a resident of Houghton, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021.
Born on January 12, 1961, Greg was a fixture in downtown Houghton. The son of the late Jon and Marcia Davis, Greg was a graduate of Houghton High School and Michigan State University.
Greg returned from East Lansing and became a familiar face at the Library Bar and Restaurant, both as a server, and behind the bar. Greg’s tenure at the Library continued after Jon and Marcia sold the business, and after a brief stint at operating the Northern Lights restaurant at Franklin Inn, Greg continued with his friend, Jim Cortright, to carry on the Library Restaurant and Brewpub legacy with his Houghton family.
