Barrio Queen Continues Helping Amid Pandemic by Donating More Than 400+ Meals at State Farm Stadium

RestaurantNews.com) Continuing its mission to give back, on Monday, February 15, representatives from
Barrio Queen – the Valley’s popular restaurant that serves authentic Mexican fare – were on site at State Farm Stadium vaccination site, donating 400+ individual sealed hot meals for all volunteers and health care workers. State Farm Stadium is one of the state-run COVID-19 vaccination sites.
The health care workers and volunteers were able to choose from a Pork Chile Verde Bowl, a Pork Chile Rojo Bowl, or a Veggie Tamales topped with Queen Sauce.
“We appreciate everyone who is working to keep Arizonans healthy and safe, and this was just one small way we felt we could say thank you for all they are doing,” says Linda Nash and Steve Rosenfield, Barrio Queen’s owners. ....
