Pretoria - The murder case of a taxi driver accused of allegedly shooting and killing his 32-year-old partner last week, has been postponed to next Tuesday for a formal bail application and to allow availability of his attorney.
His attorney did not attend the first appearance, for unknown reasons.
Kibi Josias Lebogo, 34, appeared before the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court yesterday charged with murdering Tshepo Rakoma, who was the mother of his three children, and the unlawful position of a firearm.
He was arrested last Thursday after he allegedly sprayed Rakoma’s car with bullets. She was sitting having lunch in a parking lot of a shopping centre in the Polokwane CBD. ....

Police are still investigating the motive behind the shooting. 
A 34-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly shooting his wife dead in a shop parking lot in Polokwane.
The incident took place at the Shoprite Supermarket on the corner of Grobler and Landdros Mare streets, said police spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo.
The police received a call about the incident at about 14:00 and rushed to the scene. On arrival, the bullet-riddled body of a 32-year-old woman was found inside a motor vehicle, he said.
The victim is understood to be from Seshego. Police investigations revealed that she was seated in a car with a man when her husband arrived at the scene. ....

Pretoria - Limpopo police have arrested a 34-year-old man after he allegedly shot and killed his wife in a supermarket parking lot where she was in a vehicle with another man.
Spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo said the incident is believed to have happened around 2pm.
He said they received a call then rushed to the scene at Polokwane CBD.
“On arrival, the bullet-riddled body of a 32-year-old woman was found inside a motor vehicle,” he said.
According to Mojapelo, preliminary investigations revealed that the woman, believed to be from Seshego township, was together with a certain man inside the said vehicle when her husband arrived. ....

The case against a man alleged to have hired hitmen to kill his wife and her friend is yet to be finalised.
The State told the Polokwane Magistrate s Court it would need more time, but defence lawyers argued that the accused were serving a sentence in custody.
Stanley Leshabane and his co-accused were denied bail and have been in custody since the end of last year.
