The district police of Leh took cognizance of the assault on two policemen who were beaten up by a group of around 10 boys who were called for help on the intervening night of July 23 and July 24 at around 12-1 am, the Leh Superintendent of Police PD Nitya said.

Missing minor girl from Leh recovered from Delhi
Leh, Apr 21: Police in Leh on Wednesday claimed to have recovered a missing minor girl from Delhi within 48 hours, saying that the girl was handed over to her family.
“On April 17, 2021, Women Police Station received a complaint to the effect that a minor girl was missing since April 14, on which a missing report was lodged at Women Police Station and FIR lodged at Police Station Leh and rigorous search and investigation was launched,” a police spokesman said in a statement issued to the news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
During the course of search and investigation, on a tip from reliable sources, police got a clue that the missing girl is somewhere in New Delhi on which Delhi Police was immediately contacted and the relevant information related to the missing girl was shared by Women Police Station.

LEH, Dec 24: Working out the complaint lodged by a lady that a mischievous person is making her fake profiles on various social media accounts and transmitting obscene words and pictures and sharing her personal phone number all around ,on which instant case FIR No.121 /2020 under section 67-A, 66-C IT Act was registered at Police Station Leh and investigation was taken up.
During the course of investigation, the accused was tracked down as Stanzin Tsepag,who happens to be the sitting Councilor Upper Leh, through technical surveillance & investigation. He was arrested and kept in Police lock-up. The accused was granted bail by the Court today.
