Douglas high school this afternoon. Students say they heard multiple gunshots. They rushed to hide in classrooms and they tried to reach their parents through their cell phones but some of them were scared to talk out of fear that their voices would attract the shooter. One student says he heard the gunman pull that fire alarm and yell for everyone to come out of the rooms in an attempt to fill the halls with people. When that school went on lockdown, s. W. A. T. Team rushed in. Students flooded out consoling each other on the street. It was multiple gunshots, five at a time, fully automatic, very frightening. We thought it was a drill. But apparently it was a active shooter. The hallway saw big pile of blood smeared like as if they were dragged away and i saw two girls probably dead in the hallway. A good thing the door is locked. The shooter shot through the door. I was behind the cabinet and the bullet passed my ear, got a girl next to me. We couldnt help anybody. 911 wasnt working
They were terrorizing the victim. The adult male victim in the case. Weapons were drawn, aimed at the suspect. I didnt see the shooting take place. But you see how they were the suspects were running after and intimidating and terrorizing the victim. There was another suspect that police shot and killed last night. He is not seen in the surveillance pictures. But he was armed during the homicide with a assault weapon and from that shooting last night they shot and killed that man that was tied to the homicide. They also heard word he was trying to kill a woman inside his car for knowing too much. Again, police have shot and killed two of the three systems that were involved in the homicide thursday. They were looking for a third suspect that was dressed all in black. The total count of officer involved shootings is now up to 8. Three more than last year. And now five have been fatal.
