Police complaint centre number changed July 7, 2021 LAHORE: Inspector General of Police Punjab Inam Ghani has said the number for Police Complaints Centre has been changed from 8787 to 1787 and now citizens should contact Punjab Police through 1787 for registration of complaints and redress of their grievances. Answered to queries of the citizens during live session on Facebook, the IG said that there was no political interference with regard to the postings and transfers of officers in Punjab Police. He said Punjab Police dismissed under-trial official from field postings and indiscriminate actions was being taken against the officers and personnel involved in drugs use. ....
