Philadelphia police are investigating the shooting of a 19-year-old man Thursday afternoon on the subway platform of SEPTA's 15th Street Station in Center City. The victim was shot in the chest, stomach and hand, police said. He was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and listed in critical condition. No arrests were made and no weapons were recovered at the scene.
Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer hit back against what he deemed misinformation about passengers on a train filming a rape, saying it is simply not true, despite claims.
Prosecutors on Wednesday said that they were not intending on pressing charges against Philadelphia train riders who filmed a rape rather than helping the victim.
