Johnnie: I was curious if you knew anything about the history of Pole Hill Road (Larimer County Road 18E), which begins just west of Loveland near Pinewood Reservoir and goes west to the ridge just east of East Park off of Highway 36.
WAPA and Barnard Construction Company will be working to replace 30 circuit-miles of existing transmission lines over several weeks in August, September and October, the power administration announced in collaboration with the United States Forest Service Aug. 11. This project, the release added, will "reduce the transmission corridors and associated environmental footprint by combining the two existing wood-pole circuits onto a single steel-pole circuit."
