India News: With the number of street vendors availing subsidised loans under the PM SVANidhi scheme crossing 58 lakh and almost 44% of them being women, the Cent.
The Indian government s Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has reached a milestone of connecting with 10 crore people, with 7.5 crore pledged to build a developed India by 2047. The yatra, launched on November 15, 2023, has reached over 14 crore people by January 25. Over 2.2 crore people have been screened at health camps during the yatra, and over 7.5 lakh beneficiaries have availed benefits from the PM SVANidhi scheme.
India News: Union home minister Amit Shah, in Ahmedabad, stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi aims to make 140 crore people, including the poor, self-reliant.
"This scheme is available pan-India in all urban local bodies," Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said while replying to a supplementary question. All street vendors in urban areas are eligible for benefits under the PM SVANidhi Scheme, irrespective of the date on which they started vending.
