Wicked Local PLYMOUTH – It was a red-letter day for three local nonprofit organizations. They received a total of $17,500 in stabilization grants from the SouthCoast Emergency Response Fund because of financial need relating to COVID-19. In this latest round of grants, Plymouth Guild received $2,500, Plymouth Task Force to End Homelessness $8,000 and Arc of Plymouth and Upper Cape Cod $5,000. The local nonprofits can use the funds to support operations of their organizations, which serve vulnerable populations, are dedicated to adaptability and innovation, and have demonstrated a commitment toward racially diverse leadership. More than $600,000 in stabilization grants were awarded to 60 nonprofits in Southeastern Massachusetts. The SouthCoast Emergency Response Fund provides resources to organizations that work with people who are most vulnerable to the COVID-19 virus and most impacted by inequity. ....
