The water has been turned off. Theres still quite a bit of damage in the roadway. See here that needs to be fixed. Couple of homes that have floods damage in the basement because of this water main break. Happened a little before 1 00 this morning. Frankford avenue meets up with tompson. The Philadelphia Water Department says this is an eight inch main that broke. That kind of main is not too large. It is enough to cause some problems here when they do break. Were also told about a dozen Properties Around here do not have Water Service because of this. The bigger impact to this entire area will be the closures, the road closures.
