It would pay for the operations expenses and furnishings for a District Headquarters Office and a Cultural Community center at 229 ellis street. It would pay for the district Public Awareness place making campaign that the district is beginning to undertake, which includes banners, murals, and branding in the district. It would also pay for a district launch party on august 31st of this year commemorating the 53 rd anniversary of the comptons cafeteria rights. It would pay for a transgender tenderloin oral and visual storytelling project to raise awareness for the rich transgender history of the tenderloin neighborhood and it would also pay for aspects of district Strategic Planning and for the development of the report that is required for a ....
Appreciation to the John Stewart Company and bridge housing. The design is attractive. Theyve gone through a number of extra measures to make sure its not a boring, institutional structure, and i certainly appreciate all the different opportunities that they have provided to for the neighborhood to get some input. And i want to stress that San FranciscoParks Alliance supports the nonresident flexible pricing at these specialty gardens and coit tower, as well as the japanese teagarden. Weve been consistent in voicing our support at the r. P. D. Commission as well as the Commission Meeting on may 16. We believe adult nonresidents, flexible pricing will allow for more manageable traffic flow within the sites and in the surrounding neighborhoods. Whether youre a senior, whether youre someone who lives in Public Housing, whether you just simply cant make it because of the salary that youre living on, well, i think weve done it. Weve done it. Paying attention to accessibility for people with disabilities. I dont know that the general public would assume that senior housing, for instance, also as accessibility components within it, assuming that as our populations age, they also have mobility and other communication changes in their life.
