As summer approaches in Iowa City, with it comes with the hope that this summer will feel a bit more normal. One of the things many people love about a typical summer in Iowa City is the vibrant music and arts scene. The Iowa City Community Band is thrilled to be a part of that scene by playing in concerts throughout the area once again this summer.
While our season usually begins in June with the Iowa Arts Festival, we can think of no better alternative to kick off our 2021 season than by performing in Coralville s 4th Fest Parade on July 4th and the pre-fireworks concert at S.T. Morrison Park at 8:30 p.m.
