Ago. to what do you attribute the rise? i think it s people understanding that when even when people are employed they are underemployed. their wages aren t helping them make what they need to make to cover the kitchen table issues. they re seeing that when they re employed they have to hold two or three jobs, particularly in a gig economy. the only reason a lot of people are able to afford insurance now is because of the obamacare open market which is being continuously gutted by the trump administration. i think people understanding all of that and looking back and saying looking at our history and saying what actually got us to this point, a lot of it is unions, 40 hour workweek, paid vacation and paid overtime. people understanding that. but also looking at where unions are growing, private sector. the largest growing union is sciu and they re growing in health care workers and home aides. understanding that people that do all of these jobs that are not just the stereotypical ....
Liberals as well. the thing is people like success. and they see things happening, see things moving. and i think it s sort of an encouraging note that the president is trying something different. it seems to be working. what kind of message do you think you re going to be hearing looking at the way he s teeing it up today during the state of the union address? it s not that swing voters naturally have warm and fuzzy feelings toward business or big business. they know if business is doing well, there is more hiring. if business is not doing well, there s not f the democratic party, if the white house, if the congress is seen as fighting business tooth and nail, then people associate that with lack of job creation. and so it s not natural sympathies with business. it s just that they want job creation. and in this respect, the working guy or woman, the person on the plant line will identify with success. so it doesn t become a labor business divide. exactly. i mean people want j ....
