The Allahabad High Court adjourned the hearing of a criminal appeal filed by Ghazipur MP Afzal Ansari challenging his conviction and sentence in a Gangsters' Act case. The case follows the killing of BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai in 2005. The court is also hearing appeals seeking enhancement of Afzal's sentence.
