Google will soon allow iFixit to sell replacement OEM parts for Pixel smartphones. Starting with the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, the repair initiative will include common Pixel repairs like batteries, cameras and displays.
According to the post, the earlier Pixel models "have C-band capable hardware and are enabled for operation in certain countries." The company does "not have any plans to support C-band operation in the US."
Google has released the November 2021 update for its Pixel phones. The update is rolling out in phases to all Pixel phones, except the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.
Android 12 is causing app crashes and touch response issues on Google Pixel phones, some users have reported online. In a few cases, the new Android update is also resulting in battery drain problems. Android 12 was released for Google Pixel phones earlier this week.
Android 12 has started rolling out for all eligible Google Pixel phones. The Android update was first announced in February and detailed at Google’s I/O developer conference in June.
