New plans could see millions of pounds spent on improving fire safety measures in multis across Dundee.
Councillors will be asked at the Neighbourhood Services Committee next Monday to approve £4.2 million of fire safety improvements at the blocks of flats.
The enhancements will include the installation of new fire doors in communal areas and new door sets for individual flats.
Neighbourhood Services Convener, councillor Anne Rendall, said: “We continue to prioritise our tenants’ safety as we maintain the highest standards in our housing.

Andrew Taylor admitted punching a friend in the face at McDonald s in Reform Street and remonstrating with police.
A church volunteer who knocked out a pal who bit his finger while trying to chomp into a McDonald’s burger also launched a half-naked tirade towards police.
Andrew Taylor, 50, briefly knocked Bruce Wilkinson unconscious after punching him in the Reform Street restaurant in 2019.
The drunken pair had spent the night in several pubs in Dundee before the early morning incident.
Dundee Sheriff Court heard Taylor had been trying to feed Mr Wilkinson some of the burger – bought with the last of their drinking money – but ended up having his finger bitten as a result.
