BJD MLA candidate from Pipili, Rudra Maharathy’s wife Jagruti Panda (32) filed her nomination as an Independent candidate against her husband from the same seat. Rudra is not worried about her move. Rudra, son of late MLA from Pipili, Pradeep Maharathy, won from the seat in a byelection in April 2021.
