An investigation is underway after an apparent murder-suicide in West Palm Beach.
Officers responded around 5 p.m. Tuesday to reports of a child s parents fighting at the Piper Village apartment complex off Australian Avenue and 36th Street.
They could hear an argument upon arrival, followed by several gunshots, including one that went through the door of the apartment.
Inside, officers discovered 27-year old Sharembria Lewis dead and 27-year old Calvin Nance suffering from a gunshot wound. He later died at the hospital.
There were children inside the unit, but they were not injured. Officials believe Nance shot Lewis and then turned the gun on himself.
