According to Redmond Area Parks and Recreation District officials, the timeline to break ground on the new facility next spring is still anticipated, and while the building will have to be smaller than previously planned, all the amenities promised to the public will still be intact. However, the exterior amenities, such as the soccer field, pickle ball courts and playground, could be on the chopping block as the building itself remains the top priority.
