As Denver, Colo.-based short line holding company Pioneer Railcorp celebrates 35 years of business, it has unveiled a new logo and name: Pioneer Lines.
The company reported May 5 that the change not only reflects growth and modernization, but also long-term vision. “The acquisition of railroads and other assets and associated industrial development is a primary focus of Pioneer Lines as it seeks to expand its presence across the U.S.,” said Pioneer, which currently owns and operates 15 railroads and provides such rail-related services as transloading, switching and storage.
