　　【邹城市平阳寺村村民】经常听他们说，没见过，想看看这稀罕玩意儿，光从电视上看过，真实的咱没见过，一直听说平阳寺有姓周的这一家很有名，感觉很好。
　　火虎表演异常热闹,而表演用的道具制作工艺也是非常复杂。虎衣由虎头、虎身、虎尾三部分组成。虎头由一种柔韧的树枝编成，五官俱全，栩栩如生。虎身为11块木板拼接而成，每个木板外侧钻有上百个小孔，每个小孔内插入一根30厘米长的礼花筋。虎尾用白蜡条编成，缠绕礼花筋。点燃顶虎人和打虎人身上的礼花筋后，火光四溅、光影交织，火虎时而跃起搏击，时而疾行进击，洒下串串流星，犹如钢花飞溅、繁星乱坠，让观众惊心动魄，眼花缭乱。
