WCCB Charlotte s CW July 15, 2021 PINEVILLE, N.C. Charlotte-Mecklenburg detectives are investigating a homicide after a gunshot victim arrived at a hospital in Pineville, N.C. on Thursday. Officers say they responded to the hospital shortly before 2:30 p.m. to find a man with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken from Pineville Hospital to Atrium Main by medic where he has since died, according to a news release. Police say at this time they are unsure where the shooting occurred. The investigation into this case is active and ongoing.
