A Hurricane Watch has been issued for portions of the West Coast of florida as tropical Storm Elsa nears the Florida Keys. Carley what is the latest on the ground . Reporter the wind has been picking up in the past 20 or 30 minutes. If you look at the radar the storm appears to have broken up a little bit after crossing over cuba. It seems the worst is on its way here to key west. There has been consistent rain, not a lot of flooding but seems like the next couple hours, persistent rain coming down here in key west.
