Several state recreation areas in southeast Michigan will host volunteer stewardship workdays this month to aid in the removal of invasive plants that threaten the parks’ ecosystems.
There are opportunities this month at five parks in Livingston, Oakland and Washtenaw counties. Most of projects will focus on invasive garlic mustard removal, which is appropriate for the whole family participate in. ....
