Learned . Reporter very concerningte situation out here. The police say 3 of their officers were responding to some sort of incident at this home th right here behind me. And when they arrived they were greeted by gunfire all three of the officers were shot and had to be air left ted to fairfax hop hospital. All of this happened a ruined ri 5 30 this evening. Eve this is very much an active ongoing investigation. Police said thraw some sort of domestic incident. Do they are working to confirmfi whether that was a shooting. The reason they have Little Information on what happened asa soon as investigators got herega they were shot. Now police have said the person who opened fire on those officers was arrested. Arr they are not, however, saying who this person is. We also do not know the names of the officers that were injured.
