BETHLEHEM – Ms. Sandra Lee, 68, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 24, 2021. Sandra was born in Waterbury on Aug. 4, 1952, daughter of the late John Jacob and Ines (Gasse) Leasak. She was a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High School and graduated summa cum laude from St. Francis College in Maine where she earned her bachelor of science degree in education. She later returned to St. Francis College making the dean’s list and earned her master’s degree in sociology. She taught at Memorial Middle School for eight years, and taught for 25 years at Middlebury Elementary School retiring in 2006, and was a member of the Connecticut Education Association. ....
