Realize they weren t the ones in danger. oh, many i god, it was weird just seeing a guy fall from the space needle. i saw the elevator coming down and the guy falling right towards it. he landed face first on the elevator. his safety hardness somehow drifts across the open elevator shaft. as the car passes through it snags the line literally dragging jeff backwards across the platform. he falls at least 45 feet before slamming on to the elevator roof. that s the jolt the passengers felt. he then crawls out onto a five-foot long beam. the elevator starts going down and a seriously injured man is left dangling from the space needle 12 stories up in the air. he has no recollection of his fall, but he remembers thinking he needed to get out of the path of the elevator before it came back up. there s an i-beam that runs out from the main structure 90 ....
