Zrebl director of Population Health for Hackensack University health network. 234 that role i initiated and was assisted by the hospital in developing our aco. We were in the first group in 2012 for the mssp program. We looked at it a little bit differently. Our philosophy was we were going to use this as a clinical laboratory. We were jumping in to the valuebased reimbursement scheme and so we decided to limit to primary care physicians to mandate patientcentered medical homes for all of our primary care offices that we bore the cost of all of the training for the primary care for the patientcentered medical homes. We mandated Electronic Medical records and we purchased a relative relatively strong Population Health Electronic Health system which emrs fed data into. This was all up front monies that the hospital, surprisingly enough, was willing to invest in this organization. We started with a little over 12,000 mssp patients with a little over 50 physicians and im happy to say we sa
The clinics have traditionally for 12 years worked on the care transformation and focused on that level. In february of 2012, we became an aco and we will have over 200,000 patients in and 1800 providers. We had rapid growth and thats a challenge to sustaining this. We have been successful and as an aco and surprisingly so. In the interim report, we did not save money for medicare and we did by a lot. So with that it kind of was the accumulation of a good year in the commercial and governmental setting and also with our own employers and employees. We have an initiative working direct low with them going on as part of this work. Part of the reason kind of taking off about this is here and its here to stay. One of the reasons we were successful is we have been saying that my leader who many of you probably know said that for ten years. We have been planning and i would add for those of you in the Service World like we are in iowa, you dont have to wait. You can do it now and make it wor
Hope is that we can come back in a few months to hear on progress. So we have a motion to continue to the call of the chair and if we can do that without objection, thank you to the mta and to all of the residents who came and smoke spoke on this item. If you could call item three. Hearing on the status of Sutter California Pacific Medical Center cpmc Cathedral Hill Development Agreement da and construction project, including updates from sutter cpmc and key city departments on da commitments implemented thus far, and a schedule of future commitments, as well as an update on project construction and hospital plannin. Great, thank you very much. And this is an item that i introduced and i want to thank, supervisor farrell and mar for cosponsoring the hearing request. As you know a lot of works that gone into this project and one of the success storis in terms of the different sides of an issue coming together and working collaboratively to find a solution, that everyone could agree upon
Gone into this project and one of the success storis in terms of the different sides of an issue coming together and working collaboratively to find a solution, that everyone could agree upon. And i know that i am very proud of the work that went into this settlement. And we simply wanted to take this opportunity to hear a status report on where the project is, but we are going to hear from a number of city agencies, that are responsible for oversight of the Development Agreement, and of the project itself. I also want to welcome cpmc, sutter who are present, and i see mike cohail who was instrumental in getting to a resolution and so i want to thank him for being here. And i do want to give sutter an opportunity to Say Something and it can be at the beginning of the presentation, or we can wait until that we hear from the various agencies. And maybe we should proceed along those lines. And so with that, why dont i call upon the Mayors Office of workforce and Economic Development and t
Our issue is twofold with the tour bus and number one, they circle a block continually, through the day and i want to emphasize that it has been very difficult and taken me a bit of tracking and it happens around meal times there are two restaurant on clementstreet that do have a bus loading zone in front. But, there are often 6 to 7 tour buses at a time. And i think that for years, we did not notice quite the increase, but since house of banquet moved into a russian there it is now doubled. What happens is that they circle and circle and circle. And it is increased on the weekends and it happens during the meal times and they dont have enough parking for their buses so they will park on our street and they will double park and i think that they know not to from jerry robins who i had contacted and will call the individual Bus Companies for us when we do make a complaint, however they see us and start up and leave. I cant as emphasize enough what a hazard this it and how many times the
