Any new cases in the past two weeks have come from Sault Ste. Marie and area. While many parts of the province are in more restrictive zones, Algoma remains in the green zone (prevent) along with four other regions including Porcupine, Timiskaming, North Bay Parry Sound District and Renfrew County and District. As of Dec. 14, there have been 62 cases in Algoma with 57 of them in Sault Ste. Marie and Area, three in Elliot Lake and Area and the remainder from Central and East Algoma. There have been no reported cases in North Algoma.
