Atlanta suburb hosts free concert featuring Goodie Mob and other ATL icons

The Mayor of East Point, Georgia, Deana Holiday Ingraham and Councilmember Sharon Shropshire, brought back the “Wind down Wednesday” free concert series for the first time since 2019 at East Point Commons on July 29, 2021.
The three acts included were the Youngbloodz (who brought out the East Side Boyz), Pastor Troy and the Goodie Mob. Although Lil Jon wasn’t present, the group held it down and their explosive performance kept the crowd of thousands of people crunk.
Sean Paul of the Youngbloodz opened up the show with a special plea to the audience: “I’m going to address something while we are here. It’s too much killing going on in these streets.
