PHOENIX â A family of four will be spending their Christmas Eve looking for another place to enjoy the holidays after their house suffered damages due to a fire Thursday afternoon.
The Phoenix Fire Department said firefighters responded to a house fire around noon. A911 call reported large amounts of smoke and flames coming from the front door and carport of a home located near 15th Avenue and Sonora Street.
Firefighters arrived and quickly extinguished the fire while also avoiding it from spreading to nearby homes.
