SAN FERNANDO CITY, Apr. 30 (PIA) – The Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) or much known as the national identification (ID) system has started its online registration today, April 30.
The said online registration was announced on Wednesday by the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) which is the lead agency in the implementation of the program.
According to NEDA-1 regional director Nestor Rillon during the Kapihan sa Ilocos program held on April 29, the online registration is part of the implementation of the PhilSys which is aimed to easily provide assistance to  citizens especially during this time of pandemic.
“The online registration is only the first step to avail of the national ID and in registering online, basic details will be asked of the person and this information will still be verified onsite,” Rillon added. ....
