Natalie is widely recognized as on leading american expert furnishing textiles of the 18th and 19th century and is the sole textilesr of historic incorporated of williamsburg, virginia. She began her career as an archaeologist, deeply interested in the ways people lived in the past and how they lived with and expressed themselves through their material possessions. Over the past 30 years, natalie has taken that approach above andnd by studying documenting surviving furnishing textiles to recreate them for use and house museums.
