The developer of a Hobart subdivision who faced daily fines for not cleaning up contaminated soil on a new homeowner’s property kept up his end of the bargain.
With no fewer than six road projects in the works within city limits, travel through the city of Hobart is going to be “miserable,” City Engineer Phil Gralik warned the City Council at its Wednesday night meeting.
There already has been residential construction in the subdivision, south of 37th Avenue and east of Wisconsin Street, but Hobart isn’t allowing any other impervious surfaces to be created there.
