Of the smaller plants. i want to walk through the timeline because it s important. the raids happened in the morning. i.c.e. basically came in and swept up workers in the morning shift at ph foods. the workers that worked the afternoon shift started showing up to work about a day or two later, thursday or friday. and they tell me even though it was scary to do so, they desperately needed the money. on friday, they were allegedly made to sign i-9, specifically which is the employment eligibility verification form required by homeland security. these workers tell me again yesterday that this was the first time for many of them, after working at that plant, ph foods, for over a decade in some cases, they were ever made to sign the i-9 employment verification form. in fact, two of them sent me photos. one had been working for 12 years. another had been working there for 14 years. and then yesterday many of these people were allegedly laid off. ....
