Study: Only one in four people experience mild systemic side effects from COVID-19 vaccines ANI | Updated: Apr 28, 2021 10:45 IST London [UK], April 28 (ANI): One in four people experience mild, short-lived systemic side effects after receiving either the Pfizer or AstraZeneca vaccine, with headache, fatigue and tenderness the most common symptoms, suggest the findings of a new study. Most side effects peaked within the first 24 hours following vaccination and usually lasted 1-2 days. The study published today in The Lancet Infectious Diseases is the first large scale study to compare the two vaccines and investigate the prevalence of mild side effects of the UK s vaccination programme.
