The poor do not work. When you begin to interrogate those stories, you had a very different understanding of how the world works. I also grew up with the same story. What was your most interesting finding as you dug into this . Woodrow wilson was our only phd president. I found that appeal. So i was curious. He wasnt that big a reader as president but he loved theater. He saw 250 plays as president and his favorite genre was vaud ville. So he liked a good pie in the face as much as the next guy. What i certainly recognize and what i would expect with immigration reform, and ive said this in past, is that we have a broken system. Its underresourced and we have to make choices in terms of how we allocate personnel. And resources. So if im going to, for example, send more Immigration Judges to the border to process some unaccompanied children that have arrived at the border, then thats coming from some place else.
