The Pakistani government has announced a 35-PKR increase in petrol and diesel prices per litre. Pakistan Finance Minister Ishaq Dar announced the increase in fuel prices, which took effect at 11 a.m. on January 29. On Sunday, Ishaq Dar made the announcement during a televised address. He stated that kerosene and light diesel oil prices had been raised by PKR 18 per litre.
