Around 8 10 monday morning. A Montgomery County spokesperson. He seemed upset and agitated. At one point he left the business, went to his vehicle and retrieved a shotgun. He pointed it at one employee then shot a round in to a mulch pile nearby. Reporter police began to shut down the area where the suspect began barricading himself with what officers tell us were mulch and other build materials. Multiple shots were heard with sources saying the shots were fired from police. Those in the area during this time were concerned of trying to get away from the scene. Has been unfolding this morning. Montgomery county Emergency Response teams are surrounding a landscaping business in the 8900 block of brookville road. One of the employees fired a gun and negotiators have spent hours trying to get him to surrender. Reporter they are contacting and talking to the suspect as we speak. Theres a s. W. A. T. Team, a Negotiator Team talking to the suspect. And they have set up this situation here staging area about four blocks away from the scene. But this is all happening on the grounds of brook vale supplies. We have officers in the area containing him and trying to negotiate with him to end this peacefully.
