STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Over the next few months, Karlus Trapp will perform an historic musical tour across 25 cities throughout the United States, celebrating the roots of Black music in America and highlighting a range of genres from Scott Joplin’s ragtime to Harry Belafonte’s percussion. The veteran Staten Island troubadour will entertain and inform thousands with his careful narration and smooth voice all without ever stepping foot outside his West Brighton home. ....
