we saw some people at the planet fitness pulling out some items that were severely water damaged. if you pull up some video we shot a few minutes ago, you can see how much water was in this parking lot, going into stores like the ross dress for less a few shoe stores and a wine and spirits store. we did just talk with philadelphia fire officials who said they did have to actually rescue a few of the people out of these stores because the water was so high. in at least two cases those people who were stuck had to be brought out on boats. listen to what the fire captain told us a couple minutes ago. the first company arrived in about five minutes. they found a large amount of water. they immediately began evacuating stores that you see behind us. approximately seven stores were evacuated and about 100 customers. there were two customers, two employees who actually rescued by the boat. the other customers were able to walk out. reporter: back here live in east falls, as this
