Europe s stunning parks and gardens
Gardening passion in Europe covers it all, from quintessential baroque or renaissance parks to urban gardening. Here a selection of some of our favorite gardens in the summertime.
Prince Pückler Park, Bad Muskau
Prince Hermann Ludwig Heinrich von Pückler-Muskau was an eccentric and a gifted garden visionary. The prince, the 150th anniversary of whose death falls on February 4, created an English landscape garden around the New Palace in Bad Muskau at the beginning of the 19th century. The park has 830 hectares of green idyll without boundaries and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004.
