Peter Evans Chef Pty Ltd has been fined $79,920 by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) for alleged misleading advertising.
The company’s sole director, controversial celebrity chef Pete Evans, has been issued a directions notice to remove the non-compliant advertising.

In a statement, the TGA said: “Fines were issued to the company for the alleged advertising of therapeutic goods that were not, at the time of advertising, included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG). These include the ‘BioCharger’ device, hyperbaric oxygen therapy chambers and two oral medicines.”

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) issued a slew of infringement notices to Peter Evans Chef Pty Ltd, totalling $79,920, it announced on Tuesday evening.
The fines were issued to the company for the alleged advertising of therapeutic products, including the infamous ‘BioCharger’ device, that were not included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) at the time of advertising.

Controversial celebrity chef Pete Evans has been fined almost $80,000 by Australia s medical watchdog over alleged unlawful advertising of wellness products.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) today issued six infringement notices to Peter Evans Chef Pty Ltd, totalling $79,920.
The fines were issued over how a series of products, including a BioCharger device and hyperbaric oxygen therapy chambers, were depicted as impacting a customer s health.
