Families furious as giant sinkhole blocks road into housing estate for two years Mirror 15/03/2021 Fahad Tariq & Sam Elliott
Furious families are demanding somebody takes responsibility after a four-foot sinkhole outside their homes has been left unrepaired for two years.
Residents in Etruria, Stoke-on-Trent, are livid that Stoke-on-Trent City Council and developer Redrow are still refusing to fix the giant chasm, which first appeared in 2019.
It has closed the only road onto their housing estate and left 50 drivers battling for just five parking spaces.
But there is no end in sight to the ugly mess outside their homes – both parties are maintaining it is not their liability.
