A MUM s 100-mile running challenge aims to raise cash for a campaign to reopen a play centre for children special needs that was forced to close because of Covid restrictions.
Alex Wilkinson is running here, there and everywhere to raise money for Wirral Play Council, which had to shut its doors when lockdown was enforced in March and is no longer able to provide support and respite it has to families across the borough since 1974.
Staff have launched a campaign to reopen the centre.
Alex has set up a GoFundMe page
and needs your support.
In a message on her GoFundMe page, Alex wrote: I m raising money for the AMAZING staff to continue their vital services to disabled children under a new charity name. ....
