Reporter it is opening day and all the spectators here are making their way into what is now the newest, shiness, football stadium in the country. Opening game is here, of course, theyre going to be playing futbol, 0 as we call it in the united states, soccer. The earthquakes fans are eager to be the first ones to take in this grand sporting venue. It took a little over two years to construct the stadium. Capacity is just under 69,000 spectators but wont get close to that number for this matchup between the San Jose Earthquakes and the Seattle Sounders. A lot of fans were decked out in 49ers crimson. This happened right before sierra point parkway. Traffic is being diverted off of interstate 280. No word when the freeway will reopen. We will bring you more information as it develops this morning. More break news in oakland where police are looking for suspects information after a fatal triple shooting at a busy downtown intersection early this morning. Police were nearby and her the gunfire at 14th and broadway around 1 30 this morning. Officers say they also saw a crowd of people running for safety after the shots were fired. At the scene they found three victims, two women and one man. They called for ambulances. One of the women died at the hospitals.
