Abandoned pup officially has forever home Poll Yes More than a year after being abandoned at a local boarding kennel, seven-year-old Staffordshire Terrier Petey’s story is getting its happy ending. Petey and another dog, Rubble, were dropped off at Pet Park Boarding Kennel in late 2019. The dog’s owner left them there, and left the business with thousands in medical treatment that the dogs needed. The dogs kept living at the kennel as the Southern Alberta Humane Society took on the task of getting the dogs adopted. Rubble found his forever home last February, while Petey officially found his this past weekend. ....
