Charlotte’s Web which, in some ways, could be argued contains horror elements. Wilbur the pig lives in perpetual fear of death from the people that feed him and house him. His only true friend, who was proud of her blood-sucking abilities, dies at the end. An egg sac hatches releasing hundreds of blood-suckers into the air with three remaining on a death farm with the reprieved pig.
